Greening the Kitchen!
“Saving the Earth” is a key priority in the world now. Everyone knows that we should save energy, save water and control emission etc. However, few people know how to design a kitchen, especially a commercial one, which can achieve those goals.
Most of the ordinary commercial kitchen designs tend to focus on the function and power of the kitchen equipment only and overlook its efficiency and impact on the environment. Equipment with low efficiency generates a lot of heat which results in extremely high temperature in the kitchen. Consequently, the power of the mechanical ventilation and air conditioning (MVAC) system has to be increased as well. The resulting exhaust air, plus the heat generated from the MVAC system, end up polluting the environment. This kind of design is unproductive as it leads to high running cost, poor working environment and pollution of the surroundings.
With more than 30 years of experience in the commercial catering equipment industry, we have come across many high-performance kitchen equipment and ingenious designs that can make kitchens more environmentally friendly and cost-efficient.
